New Barn Quilts Up

"Workers from the Morgan County Rural Electric Association wrap up installation of a new barn quilt on Jim and Dee Oswald’s barn at 21338 Road R between Fort Morgan and Brush. The quilt was one of 11 installed on Nov. 24 by the MCREA, which was working with the Morgan County Arts Council. The council creates and installs the quilts for free to promote tourism and preserve cultural heritages in Morgan County."

The Fort Morgan Museum is hosting a gallery reception for Modern Morgan: Three Modern Artists from Morgan County. Join us this Thursday, Nov. 5th, from 6:00 to 7:30 in the Lower Level Gallery at the Fort Morgan Museum. Meet with two of the artists whose works are on exhibit now in the museum, and learn more about what influences their work and how they came to be artists. The show will be on exhibit at the museum, now through the end of the year. Don't miss your chance to discover how these unique works were created.
